What can I do to make my camera work!?

My camera just won't turn on! It's an older version of a Casio Exilim, and I admit is has been beat up.. but it has never done this before! A few days ago, Right before it started doing this, my friends and I were at a river.. and a little water got splashed on it... (As I said the camera is beat up, so the screws on the right side came out. The camera is open VERY slightly, and maybe a little water got inside?) The little green light blinks when I press the on switch, but nothing happens at all! And every once in a while it will turn on just fine, or ask me to "retry power on" but as soon as I press the power on will come on like normal. And still, sometimes it will turn on by itself (without me even being around) and start to play a video from the memory (the same video every time.) I've tried everything from taking the battery out and recharging it (the camera was full charge when this started happening) to leaving the battery out for a good amount of time, and pressing all the ons that turn it on at all (The on/off on, "look at pictures" on, and "live mode" on.. and none of them work regularly. HELP!
