Do throat injuries heal?

My brother forced his hand on my throat a few hours ago and when i swallow it feels like something is suck in my throat. It doesnt hurt but I dont wanna live wih this problem forever and i need to know if i should see a doctor. It was injured by an accident and i didnt feel any pain.
