Does the UK have different phone jacks than the US?

I want to give my friend a MajikJack for Christmas. It's a device where you plug the usb into your computer and and a landline phone into the jack. She lives in Devon, England and I need to know if they have the same phone jacks as us so I don't waste forty dollars. Thanks to anyone who gives an intelligent answer.
