Did Texans vote against themselves?

Someone explain this to me please. Texas has a primary and a caucus, right? It's the same people voting in both, right? So for Clinton to win the primary, and then lose the caucus, doesn't it mean that someone (a lot of someone's) flipped there vote? Didn't they vote against themselves? Why would anyone do that? (just curious).
