Boy troubles?

i like this guy a lot! he's one of my friends but i wanna go to the next level with him. i dont know if he likes anyone and i want to get him to like me.what are some things i can do to make him see me as more than a friend and to ask me out? oh were in 7 grade and he's not in any of my cles, so this is kinda hard. but i really need hel cuz i like him soooo much.
